CMRT is firmly committed to ethical sourcing practices and upholding the highest standards of corporate social responsibility. We categorically do not support or use conflict minerals within our products or manufacturing processes. Conflict minerals, such as tin, tantalum, tungsten, and gold (3TG), when sourced from areas of armed conflict, can contribute to human rights violations and the perpetuation of violence. Our company has a zero - tolerance policy towards any involvement with conflict - related minerals.
We expect all of our suppliers to fully comply with relevant conflict minerals regulations. This includes but is not limited to regulations imposed by national governments, international treaties, and industry - wide standards. Suppliers are required to implement their own due diligence systems to ensure that the minerals they provide do not originate from conflict - affected regions. They must be able to provide clear and verifiable documentation regarding the origin of the minerals in their supply chains.
In cases where it is identified or suspected that a supplier's products may contain conflict minerals, CMRT will conduct comprehensive due diligence. Our due - diligence process is in line with internationally recognized frameworks. This process includes:
- Requesting detailed information from the supplier about the origin of the minerals in question.
- Verifying the supplier's internal control systems for mineral sourcing.
- Conducting on - site audits if necessary.
We will then work to confirm that the sources of these metals are present in the RMAP (Responsible Minerals Assurance Process) conformant smelter list. Only minerals sourced from smelters that meet the strict criteria of the RMAP are acceptable to CMRT. This ensures that the minerals used in our products have been responsibly processed and do not contribute to conflict - related activities. By adhering to these principles, we aim to promote a more sustainable and ethical global supply chain.
